How do I submit my files for mastering?
You can upload your final stereo mix (or stems if choosing stem mastering) via a secure upload link we provide after booking. Please make sure files are clearly labeled and organized.
What format should my files be in?
We request that you submit your mixes as 24-bit WAV files at the original session sample rate (44.1kHz, 48kHz, etc.). Leave at least -3dB of headroom and avoid applying limiters, maximizers, or clipping on your master bus.
Do I need to book time through the website for mastering?
Yes! You can book your mastering session through our Booking Page and specify Mastering when checking out. We’ll follow up with file upload instructions and project notes.
Can I attend the mastering session?
Mastering is typically done offline for precision and consistency, but attended sessions are available by request. If you’d like to be present, we recommend scheduling a studio block.

Mastering Prep Checklist
✅ Export your final mix
Provide a stereo WAV file (or grouped stems for stem mastering) with no processing on the master bus.
✅ Use 24-bit WAV files
Export at 24-bit resolution, keeping the original sample rate.
✅ Leave headroom
Make sure your mix peaks at around -3dBFS to allow proper mastering headroom.
✅ Remove unnecessary processing
Disable limiters, maximizers, or clip-based processing unless it’s part of your artistic intent.
✅ Clearly label files
Example: “SongTitle_FinalMix.wav” or “SongTitle_VocalStem.wav.”
✅ Provide reference tracks
Include a rough master or a professional track you like to guide the sonic direction.
✅ Organize into one folder
Place everything in a single folder, then compress (ZIP) for easier upload.
✅ Double-check your mix
Listen through carefully to confirm there are no glitches, pops, or missing parts.
