How do I book a podcast session at The Sound Box?

You can easily book your podcast session through our Booking Page. Just select "Podcast Recording" when scheduling. If you have questions about the setup or your needs, feel free to contact us before booking.

What’s included in a podcast recording session?

• Full access to our professional podcast room setup

• Use of high-quality microphones (Shure SM7Bs) and RodeCaster Pro recording units

• Use of optional camera setup for video podcasts (if selected)

• Initial setup by an engineer to ensure proper mic levels, audio checks, and camera framing (if applicable)

• A brief tutorial for clients on operating the podcast equipment before the session begins

• Engineer on-site in the building during the session to assist if any questions or issues arise

• Option to receive a rough mix or raw audio files at the end of your session

Will an engineer be present during the session?

An engineer will assist you before your session starts by setting up microphones, verifying audio levels, setting up camera positions if applicable, and providing a basic equipment tutorial.

How should I prepare for my podcast session?

• Bring any notes, episode outlines, or questions for your guests

• Bring branding elements like intro/outro music if you want them included

• Arrive 10–15 minutes early so we can do a quick setup walkthrough

• Bring a USB or external drive if you want to take your session files home

Can I record video for my podcast?

Yes! Video recording options are available as an add-on service. If you want a video version of your podcast, just let us know when booking so we can prepare the setup.

What happens after the recording session?

Your session audio will be saved, and you’ll receive a download link for your files. If you brought a hard drive, we can transfer the files to you directly after recording.

​

Do you offer podcast editing?

Yes! We offer podcast editing services such as cleaning up mistakes, adding intro/outro music, and leveling the final audio. Editing services can be added for an additional charge.

How many guests can I bring?

Our podcast room is equipped to handle up to 5 microphones comfortably. Please let us know how many people will be recording in advance.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or reschedules. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
