What should I bring to my session?

• Your instrumental tracks (WAV or high-quality MP3)

• Lyrics, notes, and creative references

• Any collaborators (ready to work professionally)

• An external hard drive or USB drive if you want a copy of your session files

Note: While we use multiple backup systems, The Sound Box is not responsible for lost or corrupted files. We highly recommend bringing your own drive for personal backup.

How early should I arrive?

Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to get settled. Your session starts at the scheduled time, not when you arrive.

What happens if I'm late?

Sessions start and end as scheduled. Late arrivals may reduce your recording time. If you anticipate being late, please contact us as soon as possible.

Will an engineer be present during my session?

Yes! A professional engineer will be with you the entire time to ensure the best recording experience.

Can I use my time for mixing or mastering instead of recording?

Absolutely! You can use your booked time for recording, mixing, mastering, or a combination. Just let your engineer know at the start of your session.

How is payment handled?

Full payment is required when booking to secure your session slot.

How will my files be delivered?

We can provide your raw session files or rough mixes via a secure download link after your session if requested.

Can I extend my session if needed?

If the schedule allows, yes! Additional time is billed at the studio’s standard hourly rate. We recommend booking extra time if you think you'll need it.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
